This review relates to install and compatibility with a Thule Yepp 2 Maxi rack mount child seat. The install was very straight forward to the point I didn’t even need to follow directions and it fit the Yepp 2 Maxi seat well. I will update if I have any longevity issues but this seems like a great solution for those not looking to buy the Thule rack.
Super sturdy. Took 10 mins to assemble. Mounted it on my 7speed foldable bike. Instructions say dont do it. Whatever you only live once. The third photo shows where one bolt is a little too close to my chain for my liking so I'm going to bike to the hardware store and spend 30 cents for a bolt thats a tiny bit shorter. I ordered a matching bag for the rack but im still waiting for it. I will update review when I get it on. I 100% recommend getting a flat bike tool like in my last photo. It makes getting at all the included nuts much easier than using a socket set with a wrench.

Great rack. Strong, made well, but difficult to install. If you are also installing a basket, the bars are spaced well to provide a good attachment. You must have the right socket wrench to install. Alternate tools can be used but will make it more difficult

I like the look of the rack. It seems to be made of very sturdy materials. It came unscratched and everything that needed to be there was there. Looks to be very sturdy. Assembly is a bit of trial and error but everything worked.

I did slide back the rack to the end of the rod, and then repositioned it at the seat It looks really slick. Could be perfect rear rack except they went cheap w the rear reflector that is too loose. It will come out The first thing bike rides over a bump and also the strap is too loose practically useless. Everything else is sublime for the money. So end up had spent another $20-$30 more to get those parts.
